The Infinite Promise of Hydrogen Cooking A Feast of Joy Beyond Mere Pleasure

At Madoka no Mori, we offer exquisite Kyoto-style kaiseki cuisine, carefully prepared to suit your preferences and occasion—whether in our private dining room Kappo Mugen, in a secluded guest room, or served directly in your suite.
Among our proud offerings, Kappo Mugen features innovative hydrogen cooking—a method that produces zero carbon dioxide emissions while pursuing the purest and most delicate flavors in harmony with nature.
We believe that as hydrogen technology becomes commonplace, both nature and the Earth itself can reclaim their original vitality. Such potential is limitless.
To achieve this harmony, our ingredients are meticulously sourced from trusted producers across Japan, all of whom share our commitment to environmentally conscious practices and pour their passion into cultivating the finest life-giving produce.
Nature nurtures the very essence of these ingredients, and in turn, we too are sustained by nature.
But what is the true meaning of food—a necessity of life—beyond mere sustenance?
At Madoka no Mori, luxury is not defined by opulence or extravagance. We strive toward a new global standard, a Green Luxury, where refinement meets responsibility, and every meal is a celebration of sustainability and heartfelt craftsmanship.

About Hydrogen Cooking

Hydrogen cooking is an innovative culinary technique in which hydrogen is combusted using specialized equipment to cook food without producing any carbon dioxide.
Hydrogen burns at a high temperature and is completely odorless.
When hydrogen (H₂) combines with oxygen (O) in the air, it forms water (H₂O), naturally increasing humidity around the flame.
This process helps preserve the natural aroma of the ingredients, creates a well-seared exterior, and retains moisture within—resulting in a fragrant and juicy finish (results vary depending on the ingredient).
We will continue to evolve, proposing new styles of travel and hospitality while remaining environmentally conscious and providing a comfortable, welcoming space for all guests.
